Nope, our honey is unpasteurized. This means it retains its natural enzymes, nutrients, and beneficial properties. We believe there’s no value in creating a health focused infused honey blend if the core ingredient is stripped of what makes it beneficial. Pasteurizing honey removes many of these natural qualities, making it far less distinctive than its raw form no different to just consuming sugar.
All of our honey is sourced locally from farms in Alberta. The province is widely recognized for producing some of the highest-quality honey in Canada, contributing roughly 40% of the country’s total supply. Alberta’s long summer days and diverse forage crops such as clover, alfalfa, and canola create ideal conditions for rich, premium honey.
Nope, there are no added sugars in our products. Honey naturally contains its own sugars, so there is no need to include any additional sweeteners or unnecessary additives. We keep our blends pure and free from anything that would compromise their natural quality.
Yes creamed honey is 100% real honey. It simply goes through a controlled crystallization process, where fine crystals are carefully mixed into liquid honey to create a smooth, creamy texture. This process does not alter the purity or quality of the honey, it only improves its consistency. The result is a spreadable honey that resists coarse crystallization while maintaining all of its natural properties.
This recipe is inspired by the traditional Palestinian blend known as Qizha. We’ve carefully adapted it to make it more accessible and enjoyable for a wider audience, while still respecting its rich cultural roots and distinctive flavor profile.
