The Sunnah Foods Origins

I never originally intended to start a business, my initial goal was to study medicine. In 2024 I came across a video showing a traditional Palestinian recipe called qizha, and I tried making it myself. Honestly, it didn’t taste great so I left it. A year later for reasons I can’t remember I decided to try to make it again, but this time with my own twist. Its by no means a traditional recipe, but it tasted a little better. At first the mixture had a sour candy gummies like taste, interesting however not something I would enjoy consuming everyday. That’s when the real experimenting began. For about a month, I kept adjusting the recipe, testing different variations, and having people try it and provide honest feedback. Slowly, it turned into something that actually tasted good while still retaining the powerful health benefits of black seed.

Once the recipe finally felt right, my goal became simple: people shouldn’t have to sacrifice taste to enjoy the natural health benefits of black seed. What started as personal experimentation turned into something worth sharing with everyone. To make sure the product was made with care and quality, we partnered with a farm in Alberta to help produce our blend. Today, we’re proud to offer a product rooted in tradition, and made for anyone who wants a natural nourishing food that supports wellness without compromising the taste.
